About Us
The Holy Orthodox Church of Uganda, together with her Archdiocese—the Holy Metropolis of Mityana—is a canonical part of the Holy Orthodox Church of North America and Abroad (HOCNA), under the presidency of His Beatitude Metropolitan Gregory of Boston.
We serve more than 1,227 faithful across 20 parishes and missions throughout Uganda and beyond, offering spiritual guidance, catechesis, the Holy Mysteries (sacraments), and charitable outreach to the poor and marginalized.
Firmly rooted in the apostolic tradition and nourished by a rich liturgical life, we uphold the fullness of the ancient Orthodox Faith—unchanged, undefiled, and alive in Christ.
Join us in living the Gospel through worship, service, and truth.
