The Orthodox Church preserves the faith handed down from the Apostles without alteration. This continuity is known as Apostolic Succession and Holy Tradition. The teachings, worship, and spiritual practices of the Church are rooted in Scripture and faithfully guarded through generations.
Holy Tradition includes the writings of the Church Fathers, the Ecumenical Councils, sacred hymns, and liturgical practices. It is not separate from the Bible but works together with it to guide believers into truth.
By remaining rooted in apostolic teaching, the Church safeguards the purity of faith while guiding believers in a rapidly changing world.
